My 4R isn't equipped for that type of wheelin'. Looking at their website, seems there are a lot of deep ruts and I have 33's. It does look like fun, though.

The website is certainly intimidating, sitting here on my 32's. I did notice some beefed up Trackers in the photos....If they can handle it....
It looked like they have different levels of trails. The toughest trail states a winch is required.
I'm only 40min away. Still worth going to check out.

    So. Many. Stickers.
Sometimes they freeze up with moisture. I use mine everyday and that helps. But once in a blue moon it'll freeze up on the manual (you know, the one that's been underwater. Twice). Just put it in 2lo (or 4lo for the peasants) and let her rip.

Then brake hard in reverse to help the slack adjuster do it's thing.

It's really easy to adjust. The parking brake on my wheeling truck will hold a tractor trailer.

And adjust the proportioning valve in your master cylinder.

Are they 4Runner brakes? I know they can be adjusted to work better, but I doubt they will ever work as well as the Taco's E-brake.

This. It took me a fair bit of effort to dial in my parking brake so that it functions at an acceptable level.

@pearing i’ve managed to get the parking brake drum pretty dirty with the muddy water puddles. Any chance your drums are packed up with mud?

I really think any of the possibilities could be the problem. What I need is the time to tear into it... Soon... Unfortunately I now have 4 vehicles and they all want attention.

:rofl::rofl: Agree with @Thatbassguy . Maybe it will fit on the next WI Tacomas calendar ;)

Ouch, I hate it when the maintenance cycles line up on my two vehicles, and that’s not even when something is broken.

How's the Woolwax Hard-on stuff holding up? Started looking at it to use next year instead. Fluid film did alright but it really does better being used inside the frame.

I just don’t use the parking brake in the winter. Set it in reverse and have at it.
