Not to mention, unless you have the space for a shop , it makes no sense to aquire a bunch of shop equipment. (I've seen pictures of your garage Assman)

So my friend actually owns a pipe bender too! He's the welder one that's out on the west coast for the winter. He welded his roof rack. It's still in the air of research on both ends right now.

Part of it would be is he willing to drive back sliders potentially in the spring.

I guess I should crop my pictures better:oops:

Not really. Just a bunch of crap I've acquired... Anybody need a Yakima Skybox??

It might be a cool project if you know someone with the skills and tools. It would be neat to have a one of a kind set of sliders.

    Happy New Year, everybody!

We're heading out for a steak and a cocktail. Probably watch the ball drop from the couch, half asleep.:)

I was in Minneapolis twice last fall. Best part of it was seeing signs that said Wisconsin.

The wife joined the off-road community this morning and picked up her T4R. She already wants me to add things to it to make it hers and not just another 4Runner.

Anyone have suggestions on decent off-road trails within 50-75 miles or so from Madison, WI? I moved to the are a few months ago and don’t see many nearby options when I search online. Thanks for any suggestions!

As @Shellshock mentioned, the Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail is fun. The section mentioned seems to be the most entertaining part. Also, the Dugout road along the Mississippi River is worth a trip for the scenery. There are some nice back-roads in that area as well.

Otherwise, you'll have to drive a bit further to find more trails. There are a lot of poorly maintained forest roads in northern Wisconsin, and even some decent trails.
