Appreciate the heads up post. Snagged a 6.0 Ah for $30 off and told a friend who bought three 12.0 Ah batteries.

Howdy - what's the weather and roads like lately around Mil / Brookfield? The Mrs has to fly out next week for a bit. Last time out she had the quick snow greeting her from the airport to the hotel, in a camry with 'all weathers' lol. Is it like here at the moment, kind of warmer with most snow gone and just hit and miss small stuff / cooler temps over night? The roads should be fine, no?

Funny note - with the LR $$580k heist at the dealer there, she's was like "that's right down the road from the hotel I stay at. No more action while I'm there!"

Considering that winter in Wisconsin lasted about two weeks this year, she should be fine. It was around 60 yesterday.

I've been running a Yakima platform for almost 4 years now.
The wind noise isn't bad at all from the rack, it's the stuff you add that makes the noise.
I was getting a horrible whistling noise from my light bar and found the cooling vents in the light were making the noise. So I filled some of the bottom vents with RTV, and now it's quiet.

Now you's did it. Speaking nicely of our winter. Shit going to hit the fan now.

I have the RCI Roof Rack and I don't notice any noise from it. In the past I had a Yakima cargo basket on my ZR2 Blazer. It was noisey with the wind faring on.

Haha yeah I kind of hide out during the winter when there isn't much "outdoorsing" for me to do. So I haven't been on the forums a whole lot.

I'm very very familiar with the tight and scratchy trails! At least I had you there as a guide to get through some tipsy parts. The only scratches that bothered me after that we're the ones on the B-pillars. Quick Vinyl overlay from screenprotech fixed those right up!

I'm sure i'll make my way back north again. I definitely want to spend another weekend in Bayfield and surrounding areas.

Alright collective, I'm going to be either wrapping or painting the 80 likely later this year. I'm thinking of a color change to either quicksand or some shade of green, like the OD below. Thoughts?

This will be an exterior job, likely with the interior of the door panels and underneath the hood too. Would love to do a body-off respray, but the cost would be...high.

I like that a lot. I tend toward military-esq utilitarian looks anyway. Go green.

Can't go wrong either way. Matching your Tacoma would be super cool but army green is an awesome color as well

    Supported.

I like the army green color on the newer trucks. The new bronze oxide is nice too.
