Relentless Fab hybrid bumper, 2.5” Dobinsons IMS lift, RCI skids and sliders, block heater. Painted FJ Steelies. Was trying to keep it stock, now slowly building for the Wisconsin trails.
And that is the thing. It seems like for some (most) they last just fine and for others it's yearly ball joints. I guess I fall into the later category although I'm not sure what about my suspension set up is all that different. If I was at the extreme end of things like big lift, long travel, 35+ tires with large offset or wheel spacers I might understand.
But I have Dobinsons IMS which are extended travel, Toyota steelies, and skinny 33's so I dunno.

Add me to the list of SPC haters. Failed balljoints and bushings after about 15 months and 10k miles. JDFab UCAs that replaced them are a little more bomb proof.
Oh man, those look sweet! I didn't have that but was obsessed with Bigfoot and monster trucks. Didn't have money for toys but I was given lots of used up green/white tractor printer paper and a box of markers and drew pictures of them all the time. All of us here probably got a little brain programming back in the day lol.

I bought my SPCs late 2018 and they've been on two trucks with a combined total of almost 65k miles. Not one issue, Creek, or loose joint. All I've had to do to them is keep greese in the ball joint. Must be a quality thing of the newer models, which is a shame if that's the case.

Had no idea that there was an actual purpose to Raptor lights and now thanks to your post I now know. Got a laugh from the number one hit when I searched.

They really are good shocks. The fronts are too. Not worth buying new from the dealer because they are overpriced but on the trucks they come on. They are fantastic out of the box. Or in this case lightly used.

I wonder if that isn't the case. I replaced the complete arms under warranty last July with 69k on the truck. Those had the improved non greasable ball joints.
Those ball joints have now failed by 80k.

I really can't justify spending that money right now, although that is such a good deal for those

Esp because a set of fronts (from a 4runner) just landed in my lap.
