It isn't fried, is it? I feel like an @Pixeltim :boink: response would be to take it off and put it in a bucket of rice overnight. :D

Power came back on at 5:42, much of the snow is already melted, the rest will be gone tomorrow. I guess there are a lot of trees down in the area, some rather large.

Pat @pearing, is it possible the starter solenoid is just wet inside?

Mine had some issues after it's first mud dunking. Might take a bit to dry out.

Too bad there isn't a (former) Toyota tech hanging around that might be able to give some insight...

@pearing Pat try giving it a good squirt of WD40, see if you can dry it out.

Nope! And that is a short story for around the campfire.

You went through a lot of rice for that. At least no one can say you didn’t try.

To be honest, I think it was the mud that did it in, not mere H2O

Shhhh I don’t know nuthin. I only LARP for weddings. Have ye tried turning it off and on again? :spy:

See I told ya, Rich knows I knows nothing.

But yeah bag of rice, WD40, ShamWow, or maybe suck out water with a big straw. Has to be the spiral kind though, like the ones for drinking choco milk. Then dial 1-800 parts cannon when that fails.

Sewiously though it’s like the real tech said. Probably needs to dry out from too much swimming. You could just give it time to evaporate, or to expedite you might need to get up in there with some wrenches and adjust its attitude. If you have a good local shop for rebuilds well that could be your ticket too.

Almost forgot, for all three of you who have a manual and love telling everyone else how stick is superior even when nobody asked, I saw this today:
