Oh there will be some mods all right
On a more serious note the while the 5160s might look like they came off the Titanic they still were functioning properly so if anybody in here wants them let me know.

If you put the jackstands under the frame and lower the axle, you won't have to squeeze so hard.

I like where your head is at but I actually had the jack stands where they were for safety and then I was jacking from the hitch with My jack that has a jack extension to be able to get some full droop. :)

I'm happy with these Nitrochargers at the moment.
Those look like they'll do just fine.

I sure hope so! They are immediately achieving at least one goal I already had, which is not having a reservoir mount bolted to the frame. As far as the special mount that they require, if the shocks work great and last a while then the special mount is no big deal. If they do not work great and or have an early failure then the special mount is an added headache as I am not sure if I could quick throw a 5100 in the special mount while waiting for a replacement MT64 or if I would have to remove the mount.

Have you tested out how accurate they are?
I went with one of the knock off ARB ez deflators because I was worried the 4 slower deflators wouldn't all be uniform, ocd me likes having my pressures match on all tires and I am less likely to lose one big deflator vs 4 little baby ones.

What I did with my Dobinsons was use a ratchet strap to fully compress the shocks with the bottom bolt already in. This gave me about 30 seconds to drop the ratchet strap out of the way and get the stud lined up with the upper mount while the shock extended. I used to be much stronger.

BTW, nice looking shocks. Make sure you give an eval once you run them through their full strokes.

Preliminary results are in! So far the mt64s are indeed an upgrade from 5160s. They are fantastic on-road and on my railroad tracks that I benchmark suspension changes on they were slightly better on the downhill jump (all four off the ground and then on the ground at roughly the same time) and a fair bit better when going uphill (nose pops up, compresses, rear pops up and compresses, kind of a teeter totter action.) Also, having slightly better shocks combined with the most recent iteration of Perry Parts 3D printed bump stops means that the bottom outs while definitely noticeable were not painfully so in the way that stock was. Obviously there are still A LOT of conditions (like washboard, potholes, hard on the gas on various surfaces, etc) that I still am going to put them through but things are looking good so far.

Well, today I rotated the air in my garden tractor' tires and did the same for my trailer. I also tempted the weather by changing the snow blower attachment to the mower. For the record...I didn't blow the last 2 storms, they melted soon enough.

Rain expected tomorrow, so the bike gets new shoes.

If you really want uniformity, you need to make yourself one of these. I primarily did it because I got tired of looking at the tpms screen and seeming 3-4 different numbers

No, I haven't tested them yet.
10-30psi range. If I set them for 30 and put them on now then very little, if any, air should drain out.

In the video of me going through that pit, I risked a couple harder hits at the beginning in order to stay out of the ruts. I was trying to keep to my right of them.
With the rear sumos and front icon bumps it didn't hit very hard.
