What year is that? Looks like only a little spot on the rear corner of the cab that's rusted.

Maybe they were racing for pink slips and that was one of the winners cronies driving his new rig home.

In another lifetime, I was a cornerworker at Road America. One event I worked, this guy had driven out from PA in his highly built Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4. It was just a midweek track day. This was the year after they took out Billy Mitchell Bridge and put the tunnel through between 13 and 14. Well, he lost it in 13, did a long slide down the track, eventually getting backwards. Right over the tunnel, he left the track and backed it into the wall, completely collapsing the right rear corner of the car - pushed it all up against the tire.

That was an expensive tow back to PA.

It's a '96. I've owned it since X- Mas of '97. Both cab corners are rotted. Only place with any real rust. The cab corners rusting are a common problem with the OBS trucks. She has 273,000 on the odo. Looks pretty good for an old, used truck. Still has the factory stainless exhaust.

...and, the ditch lights are completed. Enough wiring...

Next up...touch up the sliders, bumper, and re-PlastiDip the grille. I may even put some miles on the cycles (motor and bi) soon.

I see what you did there!

It's just a random mud pit off to the side of the main trail. I decided I hadn't had enough embarrassment already, LOL.

    Exactly this!

I figured you were just giving us an opportunity to practice safe recovery techniques. :D

I believe we also did some fishing in that mud pit. Remember the fog bulb falling in to the bottom. Did you ever use that bulb again? Kind of amazing how everything snapped back together again.

Man that was a fun day. Wasn’t it that very same night you guys crashed the wedding? Legendary!

    :D:D:D

For you coffee drinkers, got a kick out of what they were serving at my cousin's wedding on Saturday.

What ditch lights are those? I'm sure you said in the past but I'm not recalling it. Those are nice and compact.

That certainly was a memorable trip! Maybe we'll catch them celebrating their anniversary this year. :D

Well, that'll get a guy out of bed!

Those are the lights I bought to use for chase lights, one of which was setup as a magnet mount and was only used like once. I went out for a little drive after dark last night. In a heavy rain, I got more reflection than extra vision. They are bright, but not very powerful. We'll see when it's not raining...they were cheap.
