OK, he has a (minor) point of heat increasing resistance. If you're putting enough amperage down that wire to create excess heat, you're doing something wrong. And cost my ass! A 25' roll of split loom costs what, $9?

Sorry you spent so much on a bullshit job, your buddies on TW woulda hooked ya up for a lot less.

What does a dealer do to aftermarket wire, running through a frame, during a frame swap?
Feels like something they would cut.

I’ve been through a swap but was all stock.

I must be dreaming of Dodge's.
But still, a minivan is a minivan. I rode in a minivan once. Embarrassing.

Got step #1 of the bumper install done. The rest should be easy, right?

I really love the finished look of Steel-It, when it's done right. Looks like powder coat but so, so much more resilient

You hush now. I can have nice things for a little while...

I agree! Very pleased with how the finish turned out. Would have liked to add one more coat, but I guess we'll just have to see how it holds up and grab a spare can for inevitable touch ups.

    So. Many. Stickers.
Last one we did. We made it very clear to the guy that he needed to remove his aftermarket lights and stereo wiring and all of that and he told us he did.

The truck came in with a ton of aftermarket stereo and lighting equipment and what not on it. So we ran a clock while we're moving that stuff and charged him for every last second of it. And as far as reinstalling it we got it where it needed to be but he didn't want to pay any more labor for reinstalls. So we left all the wiring and he can do it himself or have his buddy do it.

And it was made very clear to him that aftermarket stuff can be dealt with but it would cost time and labor. He didn't like that. But he also lied to us. Never had a problem working with aftermarket stuff as long as it was disclosed beforehand and they agreed upon labor rates beforehand.

Shops got to make money and the tech has to be paid
