Actually, the school library in 9th grade was where I found my first Four Wheeler Magazine.

    Was referencing the encyclopedia's.

My first was Offroad mag when I was 14, my dad brought it to me when I was in the hospital with a broken leg.

All I know for sure is that today, the day after the election has been freaking glorious!
I have not seen or heard a single ad that’s telling me how horrible the opposition is, I’ve had exactly zero junk political texts, no political emails and my mailbox has no political junk mail!

I should've saved all the political mail,
I would've mailed it all to you.
    There's always the next election.

That would require major and excessive countermeasures! Lol

How is that truck related, you may ask?
The wooden spoon I used was hand carved by Dean @rubbersidedown.
    He does excellent work.

Nice! Did you use a mix? Or do you have a recipe?

I made chili a few weeks ago. I used the Carroll Shelby mix, and I thought it was pretty good! I'll definitely try it again.

I love mnemonic devices. So helpful for learning. This one has been one of my favorite, related to foodservice:

On reflection however, it doesn’t seem as helpful as your examples.

I saw this in the store today and thought I'd give it a try. It was pretty good. Besides what it calls for I added some onion and minced garlic.
Good enough for a TW get together.

Sooo... am I the only one who actually bought something today? Hmmm....? @Pixeltim looking at you.

I got a nice little bonus at work, and being the responsible dog dad that I am, I'm spending a good portion of it on my boy Stewie. He ain't gonna like it though. He's overdue to have his teeth cleaned at the vet. He has one (that I know of) loose tooth that needs to be extracted, and his breath smells like a tub of rotting nightcrawlers. You dog owners know that this can get expensive. The estimate is between $515 and $1350. Guessing he won't be at the low end.

I convinced my in-house financial advisor that I've been good about my spending and I deserve a little something for myself too. I'm liking the Softopper on the truck, and I put in an order for one of these tonight: https://softopper.com/products/softopper-camper-top-tent-universal/?sku=AC-CTENT-BTM

With this new setup, I will have no use for my bed top tent. I'm gonna put it up for sale or trade for other doohickies and gadgets. $50 or some other camping or recovery gear doodad for my friends here. It has served me very well, and of all of the available ones out there, this has to be the best design, with no tent floor. That means that you don't have to take all of your gear out of the bed to set up or tear it down. Works with a tri-fold tonneau too. I think @bkhlrTaco's will agree it's a good tent. Here's a link:
    https://www.amazon.com/Rightline-Gear-110760-Mid-Size-Truck/dp/B00FSBE79G?th=1

Let me know if any long boi owners are interested, or pass it on to others you know. Will post to the classifieds and B/S/T soon.

Excellent! Did you clean it up well and give it some love with a little oil rub down afterwards?
This stuff is what I use. Highly recommend. https://www.amazon.com/John-Taylor-Butcher-Conditioner-Mineral/dp/B004Z14EFM

    Yes, it's a solid tent.
I mentioned awhile back how it weathered some good t-storms.
One storm I got locked out of my truck so I stood under an awning to wait it out. A 6' branch came striking though the top of the canopy like a spear and stuck in the ground 2' to my left.

Then watched a massive oak crush 2 vehicles a couple campsites away.

    The Rightline was unscathed.
