Have you checked you don’t have another bulb that died? I’ve seen before where it’ll be fine, then the front lightbulb (or another one on the same circuit depending on what it is) dies and that’s enough to make it go crazy as the draw as dropped low enough

if everything is still lit up, you need a resistor inline. Or just swap to one of your other sets and see if they work like normal.

    I'm not an electrical expert.
Do modern vehicles still have a flasher do-dad that can go bad?
Do LED lights need a specific flasher do-dad? Similar to in your home you need a LED rated dimer switch if using LED lights.
    Just a thought.
    I'm probably wrong.

They aren't that much but I have 4 brand new, never used resistors that I thought I was going to need.

It started when I took out the drive shaft and drove around like a little Civic for a couple weeks. Now that the shaft is back in we don't need that kid energy anymore.. Lights are all working, so no real reason that I can find. Resistor time.

In a home you don’t need a special dimmer. You need dimmable led bulbs. They’ll work with any dimmer.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
When Dean first brought up his situation, the wheels started turning. This was a lot of fun, tossing ideas around, what could be done, what he was looking to accomplish. After the first sketch, getting measurements, looking for potential problems, it just kept building. I even got to learn some stuff (3d printing and CAD software). And, for the first time in about 30 years, I had to buy welding gas!

This project was some of what I missed about racing. I enjoyed building the buggy as much as I enjoyed running the shit out of it. Seeing what others had done and wondering if/how that could be adapted to what I needed.

Not true. You need LED compatible dimmers in a home. Newer LED's are less finicky, but you still might run into flickering issues, or not be able to dim them as low as they would with the correct dimmer.

I'm just glad that everything is going to LED now. For a while, we would have to order incandescent dimmers, CFL dimmers, magnetic low voltage dimmers, electronic low voltage dimmers, and led dimmers, and sometimes all on the same job! o_O

I guess it probably depends on which of the 12 dimmers you have lol I’ve not run into any issues just putting in dimmable bulbs

all the stuff at my house is matter controlled light bulbs so I never flip the switches anyway.

If the house is newer, some dimmers are compatible with multiple types of loads. And, I think newer LED's are less finicky.

Matter has the goal of being an interoperable standard that fosters technology adoption and innovation, gradually replacing proprietary protocols for smart home ecosystems.
    https://handbook.buildwithmatter.com/howitworks/whatismatter/

TLDR: matter is a smart home standard developed by Apple, google, Amazon and others. Now instead of every vendor having their own proprietary system, they all use the same one. Gives you a lot more choice and consistency as a consumer without vendor lock in

Dimmable LED's work with my dimmable KASA wifi switches.

I never knew there were compatibility issues with some dimmers and lamps

That will be helpful. I use Apple HomeKit to run a bunch of different things in my house. I love the automation and ability to operate all of it from anywhere.

Newer dimmers can be compatible with multiple types of loads. Plus, pretty much everything is LED now, so those dimmers are probably all compatible with LED's.

I'm not sure how this descended into house wiring again, but lets get back to trucks! They make me happier than the house does. I don't think I ever posted pictures of the shock tower as a finished thing. Would have been difficult with the bed on there...

My house has pull switch lights or in the bedrooms, No lights at all so I had to put in lamps. Everything is analog switched.

I'm not sure if second gens have traditional flasher relays, but on first gens, swapping to an EP-35 relay cures the hyperflash from LED turn bulbs. I've had one for years in my truck with no issues with LED's.
