I would be willing to bet the thickness of that gasket layer, he talked about in the video, is even less than .0025. It looked super thin.

The paper used in Target and Menards flyers, for example, is probably .002 - .003".

I am not able to post the link, but Harbor Freight will have the Apex Badland winch 40% off on Dec 19. One day only sale.

I've got a store close by if you'd like me to grab one for you. I'd get one myself, but I'm probably a year away from a new front bumper and I'll want to pick a winch that works with my bumper, not a bumper that works with my winch.

Hush you! I'm tryna spend other people's money here. If I spend my own on something I can't use yet I'll get the stink eye and a lecture from the wife.

    Buy 3.
1 for you and 2 to sell, when the price goes back up. (for less than retail but enough to make the one for you cost $0.)

Pretty sure it's limit 1. I'm not very good at disguises and I doubt they'll sell one to my dog.

They probably don't have 3 in stock.
There was only 1, that they pulled from back, when I grabbed mine.

Well, then you say: I guess I should get a bumper, so the winch doesn't just sit here...

To be fair, winches are almost universal.

Bwaahahahaha! She's the breadwinner in this household. Not by much, but she does enjoy having that card in her back pocket to pull out on occasion to remind me. She works for an investment firm. She handles our finances. Trust me, it's way better that way.

So I usually lock my truck in the driveway at night, mostly out of habit. As James and Jonathan will attest, my neighborhood is a pretty safe place and I never expect any trouble. Last night I was back and forth to my truck and I guess I went to bed without locking it. I went out to it before work this morning to grab a tape measure and I found all of the contents of my glove box and center console scattered on the floor and seats. WTF?

Checked my cameras and at 2:45am some asshat walked all the way up my driveway and rummaged through the truck! Thankfully I don't think they found anything of value to take. I think I'm missing my Kwik Trip car wash card that had no washes left on it. If this dipshit had looked at the back seat he would have realized he could have grabbed my Milwaukee Tool backpack full of Milwaukee tools and networking shit, but that wasn't what he was after apparently.

Checked with my neighbor and he got hit too, but get this... he was up with his 4 month old baby and heard the car doors and saw his motion light go on out back. He called the cops and they were there in minutes. They ended up tackling the guy in the street a couple doors down. My neighbor on the other side had video of it on his doorbell cam. Hell yeah!

Will justice be served? I don't know, but that little baby girl next door is getting another Xmas gift from us. If she hadn't woken daddy up this prick may have gotten away with his neighborhood crime spree. We're speculating that he was looking to cover a wide area, only looking for cash, gift cards or guns in unlocked cars since he only went into glove boxes and center consoles. Not so smart.

    Truck is locked tonight.
