Ads for those kept popping up in my Instagram feed for a while. Interesting idea, but I can get quite a few 5 gal water cans in the bed for $230 and not have to clean all the mud off of them before I get water for my morning coffee. Just sayin'..

I was showing my calendar to a coworker, and he referred to @Thatbassguy as a Drinkologist.

I know this is the bad financial advice thread and all but ouch! I am with Dean on this one.
    https://www.menards.com/main/outdoo...lon-water-jug/6700/p-1444439611525-c-7834.htm

    Only $15 and available locally.

Also from the land of bad ideas:
https://suzuki.roadlessgear.com/5-gallon-gas-can-traction-board I saw a few photos of this around when SEMA was going on.

    Sweet!
Ironman 4x4 has some really nice water containers too. I have the 5 gal Jerry can and it has served me well. They're all currently 25% off as well.

After being disappointed by the Wavian water jug (which was surprising because their gas cans are unmatched from what I've seen) I grabbed this one at FleetFarm and have been happy with it:

Nice. I would never have spent the $70 or so for the Ironman Jerry can, but after buying my suspension kit from them I had "points" worth money toward accessories. I got a tent fan/light combo and the water Jerry can for free, and honestly, the quality is so good that I'd buy either one again (at sale prices) and actually considered getting a second Jerry can before KenTWucky25, but I think I'll be alright with one.

These cans suffer from the same problem the gas cans have. Crappy caps that leak. At least that's the experience I have had.
The solution to that are these solid gray caps that have a rubber gasket. I have these for my gas cans and a water can.

I agree... much easier to refuel there than where we were in Arkansas.

@Pixeltim the calendars made it safely up north. One for school (kids actually like finding my truck) and one for work (I mean home...)
    Thank you!

You’re welcome! I’m glad the USPS was able to make it that far north!
