This is where progress stands as of this afternoon. Only a couple more parts to weld on, and my skid plate to modify. fit at the fenders is off a bit because the Mc Neil fenders don't follow the OEM lines... oh well. We are modifying that area some any way. It is to deep into the wheel opening from C O so we are shortening things some and re contouring. I would have to cut for 37's, so doing that fit now. Lots of grinding ahead. Still lots of welding to do. Might even be painted by Ice Road Truckers weekend! Need to do some wiring too...

I know right? That’s the exact same reason I’ve kept mine stock.

Anybody think a Toyota forklift diesel would work in a Tacoma?

I've gone through extensive Toyota diesel modifications and considerations. Feel free to pm any time if you have questions.

Depends on which variant. The 4 cylinder 1kd would probably be the best when turbocharged.

I would go with the 4BT cummins if I was thinking diesel.

Just heard the Bob Uecker has passed away at 90. Funny guy. I'm not a big baseball fan, but he had a way of making the broadcast entertaining.

Just heard this as well. I've been a big baseball fan since I played little league and my dad took my brother and I to Brewers games at County Stadium. Been listening to Ueck do games on the radio in the garage while working on various vehicles and woodworking projects for decades. Great broadcaster and entertainer. Gonna miss his voice and stories.

Listening to him was the best part of the game. When the Brewers were on TV more and I'd watch the game I would mute the volume and turn on the radio. He was also a great actor in the movie Major Leage.

    RIP Mr Baseball.

We used to do that with Cardinals games growing up while working in the garage. Put on AM radio but then have the TV on mute

My cousin covers the Cardinals for a St Louis newspaper. Was his dream job since he was a kid. I used to laugh at his dream, "Cover the Cardinals? Good luck."

But the M'er F'er did it. Started covering the Blues and waited 'til the old guy covering the Cards retired.

I used to do that with the Packers too, back in the day of Max Mcgee. He was such a hoot.

I always enjoyed listening to Bob Uecker. I heard about it this morning.

I was at a meeting near the stadium earlier, and took this picture as I was driving past.
