I'm already being pressured to take him on an adventure Saturday.

I think after seeing the winch, he wants to get stuck. :notsure:

I will say that I got stuck way more after I got the winch. I think knowing that you can pull yourself out will make a guy try more things.

I should add to our adventure that ANYONE is welcome to join. Only problem is they are usually impromptu.
There's plenty of spots to camp (Coon Fork comes to mind around Augusta) if the winter campers get ambitious and want to follow us into the abyss some Saturday.
We've been exploring the Eau Claire and Clark County Forest between Black River Falls and Stanley/Boyd.
(Some of which is most likely part of TWAT but we venture off the beaten path in search of obstacles).

I drove a lot the TWAT 10 years ago in my '01 Taco. I camped at Levis Mounds near Black River Falls. Nice little campground and I camp and bike there a lot so I'm familiar with it. We veered off the official route a bunch to check out breweries along the way. Wisconsin is my favorite!!

The funny thing about this is that one of the best sections of the T.W.A.T is in Iowa. :D

But, there are a bunch of great areas we pass through in Wisconsin. Potosi has been a regular stop for us when we hit that section.

The first time I ever got stuck was half hour into my first run with my new winch :)

At least you shouldn't ever have to worry about your transfer case malfunctioning.

Going to be taking a few days off soon, but still here trying to make sense of it. The fit is TIGHT. May have to move the trans cooler... Closer though.

    That's different than the APEX.
APEX free spool lever goes side/side.
