I have several that I picked up when I was in Hawaii. They are quite fashionable. I feel like Thomas Magnum when I’m wearing one. I drive faster too.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Certain sectors of the public assume you're carrying when you wear a Hawaiian shirt. Could be good, could be bad...

I've seen people carrying because their shirt has been lifted up and over their gun.
Another way you can tell if a person may be carrying is when they get out of a vehicle. They are making to many adjustments. Keys, wallet, pulling up pants and gun adjustment.

Two miles of open water-that is Bayfield in the distance-on the only state high way on an ice road

Or like the kid at my second job the other week.... Pulls up his hoodie to show his buddy, one of our cashiers hit the police button, and it turns out the kid stole the gun.

15 MPH. They get very upset if you speed as the bow wave destroys the landings.

Yes. This picture is about 1/2 mile from the island heading back to Bayfield. 200+ feet of water under the Ute.

The ice fishermen are having troubles this year as their ice augers are not long enough to get through. 2+ feet just about everywhere. My friend with the ice sailboat is hoping for a spring season this year. We are expecting 40 degrees and rain tomorrow so might knock down the bit of snow we have and make it nice!

Oh there will be some mods all right
Just booked the Airbnb for the yearly tradition fall trip. As long as life doesn't throw any curve balls causing us to have to cancel, we will be making home base in Ludington Michigan. Our previous trips have been the door county area, the Duluth on up to Canada Minnesota superior shoreline, the pictured rock area, bayfield area, and copper harbor area. I've been pretty much all over the UP but have only barely set foot in the mitten so I'm pretty excited to spend four full days exploring it. I really hope there's no curve balls lol.

Going to be a troll, eh? (trolls live 'under' the bridge). The Macinac Bridge is something to experience.

It definitely is. I think I last crossed it about 9 years ago or so so it's been quite a while. That was when I just spent a few hours in the mitten before having to turn around and head home.
