Took it for a test drive. It sure is squishy in the turns. The lean on the first corner was definitely eye-opening! Steering felt slightly lighter for some reason, and needed more correction on old rolling/pitching farm roads.

However I also took it to my local urban “off-road” course. The ride on choppy gravel, dips, and diagonally across gullies was both rich and luxuriant, and furthermore, very composed. I dare say, not unlike the finest Corinthian leather

The jury is still out. If I survive the week and don’t like it, I can put it back on.

I think the biggest win is that I did a thing today. I went out into the garage with purpose and drive, resolved to take off my roof rack and put the finishing touches on it. Then I saw my swaybar and decided I would do that instead, so I did. Success! It feels like I’m finally shaking the winter off me!

I don't know if you ever met @Supr4Lo (Jason)... Driving to and from Moab was an experience. Makes Alf's behaviors seem tame.

I hit 100 a few times in my Taco. Same thing with the 4Runner. :notsure:

Obviously there's a time and place for driving that fast.

Probably the dumbest thing was going 130 in my Supra, at night, in a 50, in a rural area. :anonymous:

Snow and slushy turned to ice this morning-back in the land of ice and snow. So much for the thorough underbody flush in Kentucky...

On the way home after leaving Denver the only time we did 80 was on the on/off ramps.

We sure did pass alot of FedEx trucks, or was it the same one that got ahead of us after stopping for gas.

Probably the same one. FedEx trucks get far better gas mileage than Tacos.

I've been through some wicked storms and winds on I80 through Iowa/Nebraska.
Probably the worse thunderstorm and snowstorm I ever drove through was on I80.

There's nothing there to slow the wind down.

    I'm a 71-72mph guy.
Only time I get up to 80-85 is in a chain of cars passing a semi or something.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Admit it, you missed the snow...

If it makes you feel better, we got some here, too. It'll melt soon enough.

Bit late compared to the others (got home to a living room remodel in progress) but here's a link to my photos and videos. Not as extensive as the others. I've been more laid back about documenting the trips as others are just better at it. I did catch a few things like Pat's flat while others were busy with other recovery efforts.

Let me know if there are any issues with the link.
