Spent an hour and a half tearing into the truck to problem solve the trailer brake thing. What I had before KY wouldn't even work at all today. Very frustrating. And then I looked at the trailer harness. 5 minutes and fixed. Took another half hour to put the truck back together... Trailer has brakes again.

Hey @CygnusX191 that little red bubble man light is still on. Where do I start on that???

Plugs and harnesses. It's always the plugs and harnesses.

Undo your battery, wait half an hour and then pop your lower dash off. Pull the airbag module. You can use compressed air. Just make sure the plugs are all cleaned out and actually connect securely. If any of the plastic bits are broken, you'll have to get a new harness and or airbag module.

You can technically pull it while your batteries are connected, but... BUT.....

I don't recommend that. Also, make sure the plug under your seats for the sensors is clean and not covered in mud or anything like that. And you'll want to check the passenger front airbag plugs as well.

Being that you are a 2.5 gen, have you ever had your clock spring replaced?

Got a compliment on my truck, yesterday.
Then he gave me a business card for his towing service, so I'm not sure if that counts.

    Bet.

Not a hard replacement. But I'd wager on that first.

I figured this might happen. I had a reply typed up when I posted that. When I finally tried to post the reply, I got an error message.

Did something today that is long, long overdue and man have I been missing out. Signed up for Onx Hunt. I am in the woods almost literally every day. I have my favorite spots I routinely go to but I also like finding new spots. Now that I have Onx I can immediately know if that cool looking spot is somewhere I can explore or not. Also helps with a hobby of mine, finding old garbage piles to look for old bottles/glassware. There is a cool tool the state of Wisconsin has where you can look at old aerial views in various time periods over the years. I compare with modern day Google maps and find the coordinates, then punch those coordinates into Onx and I immediately know if I would be trespassing or not. Bon appetit.

Boy, lots to catch up on after the weekend!

For Jeeps, the biggest challenge is getting through without a mechanical failure.

Those are still one of my favorite snacks! I never buy them, though, because I can't be trusted with junk food.

    I'm a little offended that I wasn't offered one. :(

Who TF eats only one bar?

    Exactly!

That's one of the best areas! I wonder how long it will be closed for.

    True!

You should have come up yesterday and joined our T.W.A.T run.

    Good times!

    Good eye!

    Well played, @bkhlrTaco's !

It's where all the Tacos get together and make fun of the Ford guys because they're twa..... Oh. Um... Not it's not that. I promise.

    Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail.

There's a bunch of these trail networks being put in in every state where you can cross the state without touching pavement. Not completed yet, but this crew likes to get out and hit various sections of it. Nothing too terribly difficult, usually very scenic, and always a great time

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
The section we did this weekend was all roads, some gravel, some (poorly) paved, and the rest county and state roads. A Prius could do it...but since you have a Ferd...:boink::rofl:
