As a matter of fact, a stock 90s F-150 joined our trail run unannounced.

No skidplates, lockers, AT tires, or 4wd required for the TWAT section we did.

Just purty gravel roads with nice scenery. The nicest part of the trail we did this weekend was actually in Iowa lol.

You guys do those kind of trails normally? I might be in next time if that's the case.

I had a partial box that lasted the whole week in KY. I eat one bar... Sometimes only half.

I don't think Tigerton opens until May

Usually every April. We’ve done a northern TWAT section in the past, and a central wisconsin section in the winter last couple of years.

The winter one can be a little interesting depending on the weather. The time I went along it was full on ice road truckers. The ice would have made a Zamboni operator jealous.

There are “scratchy” trails we do in fall near bayfield, but you probably need a high tolerance for pinstriping.

Sounds like the April event is more my speed. I'm not a fan of pinstriping

Also you're gas is so much cheaper. We are at about 3.17 a gallon to 3.39 for regular!

I topped off the 36gal tank before heading home :D

Scratchy trails are like getting a tattoo.
The 1st one might make you nervous, might even hurt a little.
    Before long you're back again.

Really it's more about how much you like going over your truck 3 times with wax. :D

My son and I have more exploring to do, though, we're trying to throw some tight n' scratchy and offroad into the section of the TWAT that passes through Eau Claire and Clark Counties.

I haven't actually looked at the TWAT on the map but I'm pretty sure areas we are exploring are part of it.

You know I don't understand those big words. My vocabulary is slim.

Imported the TWAT files to GAIA.

Ya. It runs straight (N/S) through my playland. ( shown in pink and light blue).
Boring path that is. The tracks all around it are my son and I's excursions.

They skipped right by an old mill with the wooden water wheel and a waterfall.
