great sand dunes isnt too far if you havent been there already. Medano pass is right there (I havent done it but its on my list)

a lot of passes usually arent open until late may or into June so probably cant get too crazy

Not a trail, but a real castle. This guy built the thing by himself. Only reason it's 5 stories is he ran out of room and would have driven the truck over the cliff. No entry fees, donations appreciated. It is really a cool, must explore place. No tour guides, you have free reign of the whole property. Kimm'r and I were there on rainy day with very few visitors. I saw most of it, though I am sure I missed some. She couldn't get to some places as they were sketchy as hell. We were there for over 3 hours.

Great ideas already shared here, I'll add a few:
    • There is an aircraft museum east of Pueblo if you are into that sort of thing
    • If longer drives are OK and you have lots of time to spend, do Sand Dunes
    • Bit longer of a drive but no need to spend as much time = Royal Gorge Bridge which is NW of Pueblo way up high
    • If you are OK driving far enough for the above stuff and still have time to kill, options are endless if the passes are open

Kimm'r and I did Bishops Castle and the Royal Gorge on the same day.

    naw taking the truck

offloading for me is a way to get to a destination, not really interested in playing on obstacles just to prove I can get through them for internet points. I've still got a scratch down the entire side of my truck from when it was a couple weeks old, it's seen plenty of off-road and tight and scratchy.

I can give some pointers on open dirt roads as well. Tyler probably has it covered in his UP page (I don't remember.) The Missile site trail is tight and scratchy but a two minute walk from High Rock Point which is a fun road (and will remind you why you brought the truck.) Giggle at the sedans trying to get out there...

    Internet Points.???
That's the same as Ass Kissers at work.
I have done what I have done for personal satisfaction and the good times with friends. And I also had a bunch of money that I didn't know what to with. My friends here helped me with that problem.

I don't look for others approval, I just like sharing cool stuff.

I don't have Instagram, X, FB, Tic-Toc or whatever else is out there these days.
You fine folks here at T.W. are the only ones.
