    Ya. That too.

This was referring to the 285 on a 7" wheel.

Ahh, I forgot about that part. :D

I'm not sure how chain stores are about that sort of thing. I'm sure people have gotten oversized tires installed. But, not sure if they would be weird about putting a tire on a wheel that's too narrow or wide.

If you miss something in a conversation be patient.

No. The tabs are for holding the alignment once it's set. Otherwise, a pothole or a Tigerton could easily push your alignment. The cams need to turn.

I think I figured it out.
rear pointed in. front pointed out. Where the shop struggled is left front cam and tie rod jam nut were seized.
    *Emphasis on were.
Right front also had limited movement.

I was toed out real bad and couldn't get anymore adjustment until I could get the front cams pointed outward.

Then with the freed jamnut I was able to straighten the wheel.

With 32s, it doesn't make as much difference, as long as you get it aligned. With my 33s, I'll be looking for the rear cam to be pushing longer and the front pulling shorter. This is to push the ball joint (and in effect the tire) forward for clearance to the cab mount. It also gives you more caster.

At least, that's how I'm understanding it.

That's what I needed to do. There's still room in the front to move a little more. (if they could). With the 32's it's enough. I have the back maxxed out the other way.

I used a string running from the back of the truck to line it up.

I have seen these before but never looked into them because I didn't need to........now I might need to. :D

I bought myself some time with rigorous applications of PB blaster, over the course of a couple weeks, and a little persistence.

Had to split the tie rod jam nut to get that to move, so I have some new tie rods coming. (for backup/spare) mine are beat up.

I have added a 6000' abandoned tunnel to my Montana itinerary. Wilkes tunnel. Look it up. Water gets about 30+ inches deep. Claustrophobic fun!
