Yeah, they should be more honest about it in their advertising. I'm sure they're doing the legal minimum to disclose it in the ads. It's probably in the fine print on the bottom of the screen during commercials.

It's still not a bad deal if you regularly shop there.

I saw the HF version at the store yesterday. Pretty neat, but 400!?!?
I used to work at Menards part-time back in the day.

The jingle is something that never goes away. It might subside a little bit with the healing hand of time, it might hide a bit deeper in your psyche…but it’s always there …it never leaves you… it’s part of you.

And the christmas jingle…let’s just say Christmas has never been the same since.

    The General Offices are here.
You can't hide from Menards in E.C.

I worked at the D.C. in 2002, before I started my current job.

Told my coworkers, if I'm here longer than a year shoot me.

Was about a week before my one year and I was gone.

Oh man, you just brought back memories when you mentioned DC. It’s not really a memory though, more like a vague emotion. So I’ll assume whatever the memory is, it has been suppressed as psychological defense mechanism lol.

Speaking of memories, does menards still do the bag sale? Having to see people’s disappointment when realizing what they wanted *almost* fit…much gnashing of teeth during those sales. Poor cashiers had to be the ones to break it to them that the item was not fully within the bag, and that 1/8 inch over the top or torn bag meant it didn’t fit. Pure and distilled retail-based drama lol.

Still occasionally shop there (although I avoid the christmastime musical hellscape). In fairness, they have improved many of their “store brand” items. Most of it used to be useless junk 15 years ago, but now they’ve even got a decent selection and variety of individual sockets, ratchets, wrenches, etc.

Dean is the guy you need to be 'helping' with a bumper.

I'm still on cam tab and exhaust reroute mode.

I had a nice conversation earlier with a gentleman from the USFS. The situation with the Pipeline Trail may not be hopeless. The trail, as it stands today, will never re-open, but the Forest Service wants to develop a trail roughly parallel to the Pipeline, crossing several times but not running directly along the pipeline.

There is more to come, but he has my number and I gave his to James @Thatbassguy so we can keep in contact and involved with planning/development/possible execution of the new plan. He was glad to hear that this group is interested in helping if we can.

He's also going to contact a couple of clubs up in the area to get them involved also.

I've been up there a couple of times in the last year, but it's not the same...

I have 2 chain saws, one gas, one electric. I didn’t mention them earlier on account of not wanting to be a show off.

I'm a firm believer in having a back up for everything.
For example, my back up for my 4wheeler with a snow plow is,,,,,,

    Wait for it,,,,,,,

Last week of school for my son.
Then it's biking season. Bike trails will see more time than ORV.
There's an offroad bike trail I've been meaning to check out.

You haven't mentioned getting smacked upside the head with a shovel, unless I skipped over it....

Leads me to believe she hasn't seen this shovel, yet.
