It’s a weekly thing on TW. The name changes but always the same “why would you buy a sport” themed thread. It’s pretty comical. My answer ? I had a prerunner (2wd) and my truck had a ton of equity. I told my wife I can get in a 4wd new Tacoma for the same price as my 2wd. Now I can straight out sell my truck today and bank cash... my sport was cheap because of inventory on the lot. I also got a ton for a 2wd Tacoma. Crazy ! (It was a 2015 Prerunner sr5 2wd)

I’m not gonna lie . I wanted the 2015 Trd sport. . I looked at it in 2015 . MGM, sport hood, 4wd, locker, etc and I needed to buy 2 vehicles. (One for the wife) I bought a 2wd new for $ 23,900 sticker was $29k

Lol the Friday threads in this forum....

I am jealous of that color. Hate that Toyota discontinued it.

I wouldn't worry about it. The guy who made the comment is a bit of a D-bag from what I've seen.

Truth! I've shown pictures to my buddies, and they're like "Meh, doesn't look steep." Then I took one of them and he's like "you're going to drive up that??"

That group photo was a real project! I was impressed with how we did that!

The whole trail looks weak in photos. But, there's a few fun spots. If nothing else it's good practice for picking lines and creeping over rough terrain.

Hey, you can't post pictures of a Nissan here!:boink:

JK! Looks like a cool spot!

Maybe I'll take a ride this fall. I've been planning a trip that would put me in that area.

I know I'm a heathen going from Tacoma to Frontier (with a terrible Honda Passport in between) :D I recommend going to the memorial and then exploring the surrounding area. Lots of pretty roads to take all around.

I like Nissan, honestly. If I get my way, I might get a Z once the 4runner is paid for.

I've been through a lot of the back roads out there, having fished the TFF almost every spring for 15 years. I've never checked out the forest roads out there, though. It looks like you explored a good bit, as that covered bridge seems to be a little ways down the road from the crash site.

Yeah me and my dad went all over today, lots of water crossings and rocky bumpy roads. Put the Iron Man FCPs through their paces today. I need to hurry up and get skid plates so I'm more confident exploring the rougher stuff. Definitely a nice day, lots of fall colors already.

I'm terrible with directions you'd have to just Google maps the name on the bridge :D

That’s very cool! I’m headed to Eagle River in a week. Maybe I can swing over that way too, if the wife is agreeable...
