Good to hear after the ominous start. The 80 looks good out in the wild.

Awesome trip so far. But imagine if you were on 37's. Those rough roads would have been smoother.

That had to be the highlight of my short flying experience…I first fell in love with the idea of flying in middle school when my math teacher let me go on the color Apple IIe computer and use the MS Flight Sim after finishing my assignments. The program always started at Miegs Field, with the chicago skyline visible in the north. Before I stopped flying, I finally flew down there with an instructor and got to experience it first hand. Not long after, the whole runway was torn up in the middle of the night by bulldozers. They literally had to fly the remaining airplanes by taking off on the taxiways.

Great news that the 80 is getting along just fine, and that you’re feeling more and more confident in it. There was a lot of work done on it, so it’s not totally surprising that a normal shakedown cruise wouldn’t have caught everything. Not a bad idea to leave it in seattle for a post-excursion assessment though.

I will say, I don’t think I’m organized enough to be able to deal with this level of organization lol

Obama and the Mayor wanted it for a park, they were bidding to host the Olympics and that was part of their grand plan. Of course they tried using 9/11 as an excuse to justify it too. Nobody seriously believed it though.

Stick with cardiac rehab for as long as insurance will pay, best way to get back to "normal" and don't forget the breathing exercises too. Wish you all the best in your recovery.

    Thank you,
Insurance pays for unlimited number of rehab visits. I'm doing breathing exercises, it makes a big difference.
