I know three people w/ rams that have wiring problems, one had to have the whole dash redone.

 

It's poor metrics on their part. They have to entice people to buy their junk and parts are always 3-6 months out even for warranty stuff with known issues.

I'd think the Magnuson supercharger would be a lot simpler way toget a boost, unless you're trying to get like 500 horsepower.

 

So if I'm looking at this right. The 2nd gen best gen needs a Mag supercharger to get a bit more horsepower than a 3rd gen?...

Yeah, because they already have more torque from the factory.

With the supercharger, it's more like V8 torque.

 

On the internet so take it for whats it's worth.

 

How much for the LS engine?
At 7k for the supercharger I think I'd just swap the motors.....even though it's more work.

 

Lol. Good luck getting a clean LS install for less than that.

I think you can get the engine reasonably cheap. But, figure in motor mounts, bell housing, exhaust, wiring, etc, it's going to add up.

 

If I am going to spend time and money to do this 500hp is the minimum…
