I'm still using them. Probably around 15k miles in.
They work great in dirt, mud, sand and rock. For what they are I'd say they are quiet.
A better product description might be - quiet mud tire.

No such thing…. If they are quiet it’s not a mud tire. Look good though

I've never tried ram rock at Tigerton because every time I've been there, it's wet.

Not worth driving to the bottom of that fugging mess, knowing I'm going to sit and spin on ram rock. Only to drive back through the fugging mess to get back.

They're categorized as an AT. But, they might fall into the gray area of hybrid tires, like those Kendas.

In a very un typical TW moment neither Jonathon @Camerasandcoffee or I took a picture of lunch today. Great meet up in Eagle River. It did happen.

I didn't get any pics of Rich and I working on his transfer case, either. An operation that got halted due to some unruly nuts n' bolts.

Then later I stopped out and visited the kayakers. James and Johnathan.
They were only 25min from my house. I had been out there exploring before.
Thanks for having me out, @Thatbassguy.

I learned it from watching you.

Gah! Yeah I didn’t think to grab a photo!
I did this one of Austin’s new bike loaded up for the drive home. It didn’t move a bit and he’s loving it.

Anyone else in here sign up for the T-Mobile satellite texting? As long as it works as promised I'm pretty damn excited to have it considering I am outside of cell tower range pretty frequently

I know this goes against the ethos of the thread, but I know we have some sparkies in here -- anyone have any good insight/info about solar for homes? I am seriously considering it for my primary residence, and we're talking about acquiring some land in the WI northwoods and I'd like to run that off-grid if I could.

We went down the solar path and were very excited about it and about ready to make an initial down payment... right before SunBadger Solar ceased operations and the owner(s) were caught in scandals. It was disappointing. Our sales guy was local, neighbor of a good friend, really great guy. He was on vacation in FL when the company suddenly went dark and he had no answers from anyone. He's moved on to another local solar retailer and we'll get back to it someday, but starting the process over is daunting and we now face some steep college bills for the kid.

Anyway, if you haven't already check out Google's Project Sunroof. Pretty cool tool for estimating solar coverage and savings and a good place to start.

Sweet, thanks! Yeah, that's definitely my concern. I keep getting doorbells rung by solarbros trying to sell me a product from a company that I'm sure won't exist in 5 years. I'm torn between DIYing it all -- I am comfortable with the panel installs and everything, but the systems offer some serious advantage for their functionality. I've been looking at Ecoflows ecosystem and it seems appealing, but then I get concerned about ending up in a 'walled garden ecosystem'.

Maybe a shed full of marine batteries is in my future. Better stock up on fire extinguishers.

Panel installs are hilariously straightforward. Almost like K'Nex.

We did this a few years back. I get a check every year now (despite the power companies attempts to flat out steal our power.) and it feels good. It is a PIA, but once in and running it is hands off and so far painless. Shop for a good installation company. We used a local company here in Ashland-Jolma Electric. Highly recommended.
