You'd be welcome. @Taco-Grinder knows where to camp on the way from WI.

Going when it's warmer this time. I don't want my venison steaks coved in snow while eating again.....

Yes, factory 8.75". I'm going to run it till it goes. Then I'll upgrade.

Yours isn't as heavy as mine has gotten... starting to have trouble with the stock assembly being up to the requiremnts of a 6k truck. ECGS has Dana 60's that they custom make that I am thinking about. May make my own. Like the direction you are going and may be following along... Have looked at kits. Why 3 over 4 link?

There are signs up for a restoration project in one area. As long as you stay out and on the trails, you're good.

Damm @pearing Ol girl needs to go on a diet!

I've also looked at the ECGS Dana 60. It would be between that or a fabbed housing 9". The 9" would have just a touch better clearence.

I'm leaving the fuel tank in the stock location so a 3 link is the only option. A 4 link would put a link right where the tank is.

Why? Honest opinion requested. Cost on the Dana 60 with locker and 40 spline axles is better than the 9". Would not kill it is my opinion, but then again didn't think I would kill the Tacoma one either...

    1) size, junkyard availability, one piece housing
    2) 3 pinion bearings
    3) externally held axles w/ no mods
    4) 35 spline axles (stock) will hold anything you can throw at it

@jberry813 has one in his taco, maybe he can chime in here
