    So Dave texted me this:
“Mud’s no problem. The dust was a disaster. The air filters are shot. We’ll be cleaning the interior for weeks. Gotta figure out how to clean the engine compartment; can’t really vacuum it and I’m guessing water won’t play nice with the electrics. Something also got jammed up on the soft top.. we can’t lower it all the way. I think the track got seized up with dust and when I tried to tip it back something broke. I’ll take it to the dealer and see if they can fix it when they change out the air filters.

The trip was fun. Great folks and a neat area. Glad I went, but I probably wouldn’t want do that dust bowl thing again. I’m still spitting dirt. “

Now that I think about it, I never did see one of those “Trail Rated” emblems on his Jeep. :sadviolin:

You can hose out the dust or use a leaf blower

He’s concerned because it’s a hybrid. Even so, I believe you are still correct.

    Lol. It's the simple things

Shouldn't have brought his $50,000 mall crawler to go playing in the dirt :bananadead:

    Dust bowl?

I guess no Jeeps on the Trans Wisconsin Adventure trail in the middle of summer.

Detailed the exterior over the weekend. Did a ceramic coat and a top coat. It’s amazing how smooth and almost soft the paint feels after finishing this.

Did my wife's CRV and loved it so naturally had to do the taco. It took a while from start to finish so now I don't even want to let my truck leave the garage. :D

I find that ceramic to adhere quite well.

Upcoming car show at one of the local Toyota dealerships in Madison. I hear they are taking over a good portion of the lot since there isn't a ton of inventory on the ground. There is even going to be a bouncy castle!

The dealership will be matching all donations 100%, and so will Toyota.
