Wisconsin Tacomas and bad financial advice

WTF did you guys do? I took a hiatus from here and trying to ketchup.

 

Sounds like he got some dust on a Jeep

 

He removed the top of his Jeep for a trail run in dry conditions. And, he was in the middle the pack.

The 4Runner is in Port!!!



Hope this shows up before the camping trip so I can check it out and test drive it before any paperwork is done.

 

Very exciting! Equivalent to the Christmas season as a kid.

 

He was dismayed.

 

In hindsight, I wish I would have warned him. I can't even leave the rear window down when I'm alone, let alone following someone in that dust.

Compressed air or a leaf blower would have been ideal for clean up. Hopefully he's not totally put off by the experience.

 

I definitely made that mistake once or twice with having windows down in dusty conditions

 

I wasn't there so I don't know, but common sense would lead to knowing that multiple vehicles offroad create lots of dust, therefore the open top was poor thinking on his part.
I agree with hoping that didn't sour his interest in offroading, just a learning experience that we all have getting to know our vehicles.

 

He’ll do more, just not in a dust storm!
