I did have to replace the drain pump, but it was the OEM replacement part. No aftermarket mods, yet.

Beautiful shot! This really makes me want to take a drive up north soon.

 

I’m still loving them! I got the standard valved shocks for the rear of the 4runner. Glad I did. It’s firmer than stock, but in such a well-controlled way. It rides truck-like, but absolutely no harshness.

 

Well I’m at the dealership for the wife’s 4Runner 5k maintenance. I’ve been thinking about buying a New Tundra for towing a camper with the value so high on the Tacoma. Itold my wife it’s like $50k minus the $41k I can sell my Tacoma for. She obviously said “go ahead!”

Tell them you want the truck, no "market adjustment". Period

Sales guys are dumb. You need to talk to a sales manager. Tell him you'll buy it right now. If he gets rid of the entire market adjustment. They'll usually give you some kind of dribble about well that's how things are and then you tell them well this is how things are, I don't buy it with the market adjustment. Period

Also don't buy it until you can test drive it. If they're not letting people test drive, they're not going to have a lot of sales.

If I bought any other color I would need to ask the painter at work do some magic. Matching body paint and it would look awesome.

I rather get another 4RUNNER after driving my wife’s up to Waupaca on Saturday. My wife think my Tacoma gets better gas mileage. I get about 16.5mpg on my 2021 Trd Sport manual. My 2017 Trd sport automatic got 21.5 - 23mpg depending on how much my foot was pressed to the floor.

Spotted the Duesterbecks, what did you think of their beer ? Used to go there all the time, lived about 4 miles from them.

Love the 500 dollar passive security system. The word passive sure makes it look like they are hiding something. I’m betting they meant to say they are charging 500 bucks because the doors lock.

 

Don't forget the blinking light when the doors are locked. Big $ item.
