That is why I always carry a laser pointer with me. There is no cat that can resist chasing that little red dot! Plus you are always ready in case you have to give a presentation.

    He's still west of me.
My concern is more with the coyotes. They're getting brave enough to walk with in bow range of the house. Saw one walk within 15 feet of dog pen, both dogs are 55 - 60 pounds, coyote showed no fear. Mini-14 is now kept close.

Yeah, its been weird watching the coyotes get more and more ballsy over the last few years. Don't have to worry about it much though, my 180 pound mastiff can protect himself when we go camping. :muscleflexing:

I can't say that I am overly concerned about Coyotes. Use to have a fair amount of fun shooting them with .223s in South Dakota during college. The wolves that have moved back in up north have given me something to worry about though.

I know some people that the reason they got a concealed carry permit is when their bowhunting in wolf areas.
I think it's just a matter of time before someone is killed by a wolf.

I think if you're staying alert, being safe and aware that they are in your area you should be okay. But I agree, there's bound to be someone who sees one and doesn't take it seriously and gets killed.

New Tacoma owner in Madison, WI. I think I am going to get a cap for it soon but haven't decided which to go with yet. Has anyone had luck with Lakeland caps on their gen 3 Tacomas? I'd like to support a WI company if possible but I haven't seen many pics of them on gen 3 tacos. I think in Madison there are dealers for A.R.E, Leer, and Lakeland.

You might want to see if you can buy factory direct. Lakeland caps are made in Greenbush. Thats' just a few miles west of Plymouth. Off of hwy 23.
