Wow, that pic makes me have tingly feelings inside. It’s becoming what it was meant to be.

Platform/storage is done except for varnish, which I'll do when it's warmer; 77" long and about 55" wide. Now just time to play around with gear and where things should go.

I just want to say in the nicest way you are a bastard. :D

it’s been a busy day. I installed the SPC UCA’a, RCI sliders, and the 45K service.

Hahaha. How did that long UCA mounting bolt treat ya? Looks real good, and now it's done!

Did you go with the 0 degree sliders?

Oh there will be some mods all right
It seems I have developed somewhat of a reputation. Every time a new vehicle shows up in the work parking lot somebody asks me if I got a new vehicle

I had watched some videos on how to get the bolt out. Curiously they only showed the easier drivers side. I definitely needed to bend more out on the way on the passenger side.
I ground a flat on the integrated washed to make it easier to reinstall. I chose not to reverse it like most do just because if the nut should ever come off the bolt won't want to back out in a dangerous fashion.
Scheduling an alignment for early in the week.

And yes 0 degree sliders with the step plates, not for me but to make it easier for family members to get in and out.
My only complaint is the RCI instructions leave a bit to be desired. No photos or diagrams nor an install video I could find.

No worries I got them on just fine. and even found a mouse nest in the frame

With how much the Frontier caught my eye there is a good chance lol. I have decided to do one more tacoma test drive as well, with a twist. I'm going to test drive used. I have heard of vehicles feeling more powerful after break in so I want to see if a broken in tacoma feels as lethargic as a new one.

A new non-broken in frontier feels like a race truck

That is what I used. They are workable instructions, just would have been a bit easier with some photos.

Mine are currently off getting sandblasted at powder coated. I think I set a personal record for taking them down without power tools or a jack though, 22 minutes.
