I'm pretty good now, but when I first got this truck a couple years ago it was quite an adjustment and learning period for me to get comfortable with the hood and the dimensions like that. My previous truck was a 2003 F-150, and although it was bigger, the view in front of me was more sloped, not as blind and easier to judge.

Old Blue on the right, New Blue on the left, at the dealership. Old Blue was a good truck and fun to work on. I miss that rumbling V8 and Magnaflow exhaust, but that blown head gasket was a bit of a problem.

I went from a MINI to my Tacoma a couple years ago. I have yet to fully adjust to fitting properly in a parking space.

    No Sir,
I'm not going to buy anything.
But, I will tell my brother. He drives a 4RUNNER. I'd would really enjoy helping him spend his money.:spending:

I showed him pictures of our last trip. He was wondering about your 4runner. Lift brand and amount and tire size.

    Oh-oh!

I have Bilstein 6112 front and 5100 rear.

Fronts is medium duty springs set to 2.3" of lift (the non KDSS settings might be different).

Rear I have Bilstein 1.5" lift heavy duty springs (+400#) which I wouldn't recommend unless he's always loaded. I have a few hundred# of constant weight, but I still feel like they're too stiff at times. There is a standard weight option, though.

Tires are Yokohama Geolander MT in 295/70/17. I'd recommend sticking to a 285/70/17 if he doesn't want to do a BMC. I will probably go back to 285 with the next set.. unless I go 35's and regear. :anonymous:

I still have my +250-500 icons on the tundra and I was worried they might be too stiff but they are shockingly fine. I really didn’t want to have to go pull them off and swap the leaf pack around

you should just go all the way and do supercharger, regear and 37s
