Ha! From some of the pictures it looked like you were the expert mixologist.
Definitely need to meet up for beers. :drunk:

I’ve been signing up for a bunch of bowling tournaments/fundraisers. Every weekend seems busy. I still need to fluid film before 1st snow! Lol

If anyone is interested there’s a fundraiser at South Shore Bowl in Cudahy on October 22 to raise money for “Honor Flight.” Food is included for bowlers. 50/50 raffles and other items will be raffled off! Oh and they have a bar.

I stayed at Twin Bridge campground a few years ago. It’s a very nice spot. Has electric sites and also has a huge group site. Bathroom/showers and had water available at several centrally located spots.

I might be able to meet for a beer. Saturday midday works best. Some weekdays work but my schedule changes every day. I work in illinois so usually don’t get across the border (Kenosha) till about 5pm Mon-Thurs.

Yeah I drove through and it looks super nice but no way to reserve either online or in person. Water in showers is turned off but no signs posted. I’m assuming they shut it down early due to the cold front.

PS - for any hunters out there I can confirm bucks are jumping everywhere tonight up by Crivitz. Go get in a tree tomorrow or Wednesday, should be a good time while it’s chilly.

Wow. I reserved online last time. It included the daily county pass so you could hit all the waterfalls and didn’t need to pay the Rec fee at each one.
I know the water was always shutoff on Oct 1 unless frost was in the forecast.

Wow, I'm surprised I had not heard of the Honor Flight fundraiser. My wife's cousin heads up the "We Run, They Fly" fundraiser every year and we're very involved with that and supporting the Star and Stripes Honor Flight. And Cudahy is a few miles south of my place. Unfortunately my bowling days are probably behind me after a broken knee a couple years ago, but I may be able to stop by and support the event and say hello.

Saturdays are for drinking beer, naturally, but are most others available for a meetup on a Saturday in October? Perhaps I'll post an informal poll over in the WI Events thread in a week or so and see what people think.

Yep my brother in law volunteers for just about every flight. He’s at Mke at 0400 and doesn’t leave till every last Veteran is on their way home.
Last weekend Old Settlers inn Bowl hosted Wreaths Across America fundraiser for Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery Union Grove. We got crushed! Lol
    Hope you make it out
Looks like we (our team) registered for the 2:30 session. I’ll have some time to drink a beer or 2 before our match starts

A lot of years ago, my brother had gotten to know the owners of one of the cabins by the Lower Bagley, so we would occasionally access the river from the edge of their property. We also kept an eye on the place when they couldn't make it up there for a couple of weeks. It was just nice to sit on the banks and get lost in the moving water.

After washing the undercarriage today, I was looking at my OEM gas tank skid and thinking it's probably time to get a proper aftermarket skid.

I should probably figure out what's up with my locker before I go buying any other goodies.

In August, it didn't want to disengage, and now it doesn't want to engage. I hope it's something simple. :(

I put the truck in the garage Sunday... might take it out and start cleaning tomorrow after work. Or not.

I had the sprinkler under mine for a while during the rain storm on Sunday, but probably won't have time to do a good cleaning until the weekend.

I did find the rattle that started on Friday though. It's actually is just an exhaust hanger vibrating on the skid plate. Nothing a little grinding can't fix

I ran mine through the car wash, after getting a new alternator.
Job ticket says it was only putting out 4 volts and was cased in mud. I'm not sure where that could have come from...

Maybe I'll try the sprinkler for a bit first. Picked up the pressure washer, so I can super clean. My wife asked why I wanted it as it doesn't have "low" settings... I mentioned the underside needs help and she just rolled her eyes.

But to attest to the durability of the alternator how many mud baths has it seen since you owned the truck?

I'm going to crawl under there after work and see what I can figure out.

I did mine yesterday after work.
