Im far from an expert on second gen stuff but I know the first gen ADD is generally a non issue. I think the second gen tcase is normally the bigger issue if you don’t exercise 4 low regularly

Does the tensioner need to be replaced when you replace belts?

I saw on FB Oct.31st trails close but looks like camping is still available at least until end of November.

I might try to get there 1 more time before the trails close. If I can get there it'll probably be a just Friday night/Saturday either the weekend of the 21st or 28th. Kinda want to try climbing that rock that you got winched up @McSpazatron.

Ok thanks, I’m trying to see if my sister and her family can go on a day trip. They have a bone-stock 4 door jeep that’s never gotten dirty, and her and my BIL have been looking for an excuse. Just a matter of timing/availability.

I’m thinking the ring-road should be doable for them without breaking anything lol. I bet the nephews would think that alone would be pretty rad. The only hesitation is what @Taco-Grinder mentioned about mud and stock jeeps…so it’s probably best to keep the jeep’s feet dry. Actually, same with me, since I dont want to clean the undercarriage once the weather gets cold. I hosed things down yesterday, and it was already cold enough lol.

@Supr4Lo If you get up there again and the the ramp rock isn't full of mud and ice, I think you’re just gonna have to send it! And a video too :)

When I watched the video of the jeep going up it's really the first 5 feet that is an issue. Have to get over the hump at the bottom and the mud doesn't help.
