    Let's make it happen.

We could plan this for morning or into the evening, most likely on a given Saturday or Sunday. This initial meetup could then be used to plan out ideas for other events down the road, such as wheeling, camping, meetup locations, etc. Ideally, it would be a fun environment that's not too far for most with food onsite and enough room for vehicles, depending on turnout.

A few things would be needed to confirm: date/time, location, and vehicle preference. On the last point, I mean if this should be just for Tacomas (any gen), of if it should be opened up to Toyotas more generally, such as 4Runners, FJs, etc. From there - again, depending on turnout - confirmation with the land owners would be needed, as well as maybe a few volunteers and notifying local law enforcement. These last ideas would only be needed if we have decent projected attendance, as a half dozen of us showing up somewhere wouldn't warrant it.

Personally, I'm thinking sometime during the summer in greater SE WI with only Tacoma owners to start (as this is TW after all). Here is my humble, classic location idea: The Kiltie Drive-In - Oconomowoc.

I'd like to get a small gathering set up soon. This weekend is good for me. Let's just see who's available and do it.

We can shoot the shit, and talk about bigger get togethers down the road.

This Saturday or Sunday? Who's in?

EDIT: I have to lobby for 4runners to be allowed as well.

I think @Thatbassguy is grandfathered in since he just got rid of his Tacoma.I don’t see a problem with 4runners, FJ’s, Tundras , old school Toyota pickups. It’s all in the family.
I’ve got a ton of things to get done this weekend and next. I got friends staying at my house next week for the tailgating event and I need to pickup my new Stove and fridge that is our friends house(brand new appliances installed to sell a house that they don’t need) All that plus I have a ton of food prep and shopping for deep fried palooza next Saturday. So I’m 99% I can’t meet up this weekend and next weekend is a no for sure.

April 13,14 (sat-sun) is a possibility it’s Palm Sunday so want to check the calendar for my daughters church class having a play or something.
    (ahhh marriage!)

I was at 7 Bridges a few years ago. It has tons of parking (several lots), trails to hike. South Milwaukee boat ramp has tons of parking also

Could you drop a couple pins on a map where you entered/exited for TWAT and the Driftless area? I've heard people talk about them, and googling isn't providing a lot of specifics (good trail heads, etc)

I got the firepit in the backyard. We can grill out and have a few beers when it warms up!

So I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for. The TWAT is a mapped out route of interconnected roads, mostly dirt roads and logging roads but some pavement that will connect you from the SW corner of the state all the way to the Bayfield Peninsula. It's not technically a trail, it's all on legal roads except there is a version for dual-sport motorcycles that puts you on trails that are legal for those vehicles. It's not technical in anyway. I've never driven the whole thing or even 1/3 of it, just random sections from the state line to about the Hatfield area. On Saturday I started at Dickeyville and drove to Brodtville before heading northeast a little for some trout streams. On Sunday I picked up the TWAT near DeSoto and followed it to Soldiers Grove where I stopped to fish, and hammered the trout btw.

The Driftless Area is a region in southwestern Wisconsin that escaped glaciation during the last ice age and, consequently, is characterized by steep, forested ridges, deeply-carved river valleys, and karst geology characterized by spring-fed waterfalls and cold-water trout streams.

Here is a link to the maps of the TWAT. https://dualsportmaps.com/showMap?dsmMapId=872ED993-E3EA-4A88-9429-2002CA014CC1

Oh there will be some mods all right
Yeah, there's not too many of us northern folk, the majority are from the Milwaukee and Madison areas.

    ^ Agreed, and welcome!

Though it seems we do "get around" - I myself usually go up to the greater Rhinelander and the Chequamegon-Nicolet Forest areas occasionally.

I as well get down to the Sauk-Madison areas quite often as that’s where my kids live.
I need to find that area in the photos of the driftless area.

I'm available for a meet this weekend if anybody has cabin fever and just wants to get out and about. I would definitely like to meet up with Bob and possibly plan something in the future, since we are both close to one another. I really would like to plan a little wkend trip to the TWAT trails after seeing the video footage. As much as I love Tacoma's, I also agree with Bob about allowing FJ's, 4 Runners, and Tundras to join.
I'd be cool with meeting in Milwaukee, Lake Geneva, Southern Kettle Moraine, and possibly Madison.

Drive over to Drummond Island and wheel the trails over there and then come back down across the bridge.

I made that trip in a bus this fall. Wish it would've been daylight when we drove across the bridge...
