So..... Funny thing..... I'm banned from test drives (without a non refundable deposit/down payment/some sort of security) from a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealer, a Toyota dealer, and a Nissan dealer. :anonymous:

Might* have driven damn near every vehicle they offered for a period of 4-5 years

    *Most definitely did

2nd and 3rd rate auto dealers are never worth it, unless you really know the guy.... They're buying auction shit that dealers and their associated secondary networks won't even touch.

LMAO! I thought I was bad!

Agreed about used car dealers. You might find a gem, occasionally. But, most likely, you'll find headaches!

The Jeep dealer is still cool. They let me come paw through a gladiator or two. No drives though. Same with a Ram Rebel.

The other two.... I don't associate with. One of the other family branded dealers across from that Nissan dealer is currently under fire for trying to sell a CPO Hyundai with a clean car fax..... After they lit it on fire. Complete shitshow up there lol

    Haha, do tell!

Out of all of the "fast" cars I drove back then, I probably went the fastest in my ~160 HP Supra. Driving on U, aka 76th street, we buried the speedometer ~130MPH, in a 55. Definitely not smart, but we were young and dumb.

Same. About 130. Just merged onto the freeway and then for some weird strange reason I just couldn't lift my foot off the gas pedal lol

Fastest I've ever done on land was a 2004 CBR600RR. It was on my 25th birthday and I was late for an early bird skydiving promotion. Terminal velocity while tandem skydiving is 120mph, lets just say I did much faster than that on pavement. A lot faster. I don't go that fast anymore.

Lost all the photos (dead hard drives, the early 2000's were a rough time) other than this teeny tiny thumbnail, hopefully it shows through. Tracked it at Blackhawk Farms. It was so clean, hurt when I sold it to some stunt rider who likely crashed it. Replaced with a black 2006 which was equally fast.

I rode a buddies r6 once. I’m not sure why it had 6 gears when I was only brave enough for the first 3 lol

Yeah, they are stupid fast. I used to use all the gears when I was young and very dumb. Buddy had an R1 and said my blue 600RR was nearly as fast (though I had a few things done to it). He had top end from displacement and gearing, mine could dance the twists but still rip it. I'm glad I don't live in that world anymore lol.

I wanted an R6 badly years ago. I sometimes think it was a blessing in disguise that I couldn't afford a bike back then. Based on how fast I drive in a lifted 4wd station wagon, there's a good chance I might have killed myself if I had gotten my hands on a crotch rocket back then!

142 on my F4i (not just once). Great way to clear your mind - you don't have time to think of anything but the road. Haven't been above 130ish in at least a year...I'm getting old.

BTW, congrats on the bumper...I've seen one similar lately. The HF winch is a steal, go with synthetic over wire.

Thanks! Yeah I'm learning quickly about winches and recovery gear. Lots of time to daydream & research right now, I had a talk with myself and resolved not to install it until after all the salt washes away come spring. Never imagined I'd lose my mind and have full bumpers & armor yet. Thanks everyone for morally corrupting me LOL

I've never heard of or watched this stuff before this year. I understand now why it's popular. Those drone shots of everyone down below are nuts, so many people...
