She’s from Wisconsin. That’s why we lived there for 2 years while I went to grad school.

 

um where is this?

 

Lake Powell. Warm springs Bay. Drive out on deep sand 4x roads and camped on the beach by ourselves. No other campers. A few jeepers passed in the day and a few boats fishing for a while. But mostly we had the bay to ourselves.

 

Lake Powell has been on my list for awhile, just haven’t made it there yet

 

It’s amazing. We’ve been a few times over the years. A couple years ago we camped on Alstrom Point. Scenic AF

And kayaked into antelope canyon

Like @Shellshock says below. If she wants to come, bring her along. We've had wives, girlfriends, kids, nephews, etc.

I brought mine to the pipeline and she thought it was terrifying. She kept asking if we could stop.

Trout aren't my thing, unfortunately. I never got into fly fishing, and I really can't afford any more hobbies right now.

 

Late to the party. I'm interested in the April 10 TWAT run, undecided on camping. Waiting to find out if my wife is free, or invite a friend if she's not.

 

I asked my wife if she wanted to hit the trails and camp. She rolled her eyes! Not sure if that was for 12 hours sitting in the Tacoma or sleeping in a tent....

I’m in for the trails and a beer or 2 at the Potosi Brewery.

 

My wife's in in for the trip! I also decided on camping. We'll probably drive back home and take my 10 year-old dog on her first camping trip more locally to the house. She's an anxious dog, so we'd rather be close enough to drive her home if she's a wreck. If anyone else is interested, we've got site #9 at Menomonee Park. If it rains or we're too tired, we're only out $20.

I would come visit if I weren't staying at Wyalusing. I fish that quarry occasionally.

 

If you or anyone else on the forum is up for a fishing trip, I need to re-learn how to fish. I haven't gone since I was a kid, and I'm gonna need to know how for retirement. It's either that or golf, and I already know I suck at golf.

 

I suck at fishing, but I still love it!

Maybe we should work some fishing into one of these shindigs.

Trout are harder to catch than the other fish I suck at catching!
