For me, it depends on where I'm going, and for how long. If I'm going to be somewhere a few days, I just throw everything in the truck and unload most of it at the campsite.

We used to go on 2 week trips and multiple campsites, and brought everything we could think of. Everything was in totes and organized, so we could set up and take down pretty efficiently.

Most of the camping I do now is just a night or 2. And, I'm nervous to leave things unattended all day while I explore. So, I tend to bring less stuff on those trips. I have also condensed my camping gear and eliminated some of the things I never really use.

It is nice to be comfortable while camping!

Good ! The reason I bought the Lifetime Heavy duty cooler (Walmart yeti knock-off) was to bring ice spheres
for my whiskey that I make before a trip.

Edit: I realized I probably shouldn't post the whole certificate so I cropped the top part only.

Do I have to request a vanity before my assigned one?

Nope. You have to get one first, then you can request a vanity one

    I know.....

I asked my wife if she wanted to go for a 15 hour car ride. I told her it’s only 8 hours on the highway(round trip), 3-4 on the trail and a hour or 2 at Potosi Brewery watching me sample 20 beers.

    she declined!

She never drinks because of migraines so I sort of want her to go to the brewery 4hours away. 2 hours of sampling every beer they have to offer and a nap as my wife drives us back home. Win, win!
Nope, she’s still not going. Oh well guess I’ll bring my growlers with and hope they will fill them.

" I was thinking of starting from the Illinois border maybe sometime this summer. There is a brewery I have heard of in nearby-ish Deborah IA. that might be a good place to stop for lunch. It’s called Toppling Goliath."

You mentioned about starting at the IL border sometime, I should be all good then:bananadance:
