I looked it up. It's 20 more minutes and 1 mile shorter taking back roads.

I just checked again and depending on traffic it might actually be faster taking back roads

I’m with ya ... I drive it everyday. Between the traffic lights and all the roads torn up it’s longer.
Hopefully the Saturday traffic will be a breeze.

I just drove to the shop yesterday to see the parking situation (thinking earlier the better)
They were just paving north ave by Schmale in Carol Stream and some of the roads around Barrington are single lane with traffic lights alternating directions.
Unfortunately I drive there everyday.... it sucks

I’ll be there at 830. I have to drive from Green Bay that morning. I’m game for carpooling or caravanning. My access cab won’t hold many people... but...

 

I'm finishing up my move to Milwaukee on Friday but going to try to make it as well!

 

I didn't realize there was a scenic route through there lol.

 

Whatever route doesn't have tolls I guess.

If anyone is more familiar with the area and knows a good route with no tolls, I'm good with it.
