Yeah, glad I stuck around. It was kind of a long day though. Probably won't stay that long this year.

Hopefully we can set-up a caravan to roll down there.

It’s more like 30-45 minutes and a extra 1/4 tank of gas

    Lol

I looked it up. It's 20 more minutes and 1 mile shorter taking back roads.

I just checked again and depending on traffic it might actually be faster taking back roads

I’m with ya ... I drive it everyday. Between the traffic lights and all the roads torn up it’s longer.
Hopefully the Saturday traffic will be a breeze.

I just drove to the shop yesterday to see the parking situation (thinking earlier the better)
They were just paving north ave by Schmale in Carol Stream and some of the roads around Barrington are single lane with traffic lights alternating directions.
Unfortunately I drive there everyday.... it sucks

I’ll be there at 830. I have to drive from Green Bay that morning. I’m game for carpooling or caravanning. My access cab won’t hold many people... but...

Whatever route doesn't have tolls I guess.

If anyone is more familiar with the area and knows a good route with no tolls, I'm good with it.

Ha.. I think he was just giving Illinois a backhanded slap....

    It’s just traffic and potholes

I’ll follow the route you got.
I’m still a go. Haven’t talked to my step son today. ...no news yet on the baby being delivered.

My stepmother in-law is now here so I need to go to this event or I’ll blow my brains out! Lol

    Not kidding...
I’m going to watch my wife and her stepmother crochet while watching Hallmark channel........
    Kill me now!
