I visit the mighty Chippewa every few weeks during the summer months. Great scenery and fishing! I have access to some land just upstream from where the Red Cedar dumps in.

I can't get enough of that river. One day I caught channel cats, smallmouth bass, drum, redhorse, walleye, and Sturgeon in the same spot on nightcrawlers and a cheap jig.

I'd be interested in a fishing outing.

So I'm still pretty new to TW, so is it just me or are the buy/sell/trade threads basically just a tease to midwest owners? Everything seems to be out of Cali. Also cali folk seem to have a hard time sticking to a purchase.

So took a drive to the Northern Kettle Moraine SF this morning to check out some 'trails' and put some mud under my tires. The first place I went was called Lovers Lane. Its about 5 miles east of Kewauskum off of Hwy H. Now I had seen pictures and was mildly curious of how bad it was. Well after about 200 yards the road gets very narrow and the right side is rutted very bad. To move far enough left you would need to be in the trees. I didn't even attempt it. Here's a picture.
    20191110_092228.jpg

So from there went to Division Rd and ran that, which was fun. Nothing bad just sloppy.
Then to Haushalter Ln, another dirt/gravel/mud forest road leading to a parking lot. And then finally to S. Mill Rd just east of Kewauskum. This was the worst road I was on. Heavily pot-holed and mud and slush covered made it slow going but again nothing a car with a little bit of ground clearance. The sloppy conditions made it fun. So anyways, a good morning exploring the only dirt roads I know of in SE WI in some fun conditions.

Not without knowing what the other end looked like, or beyond. If your tires dropped into that ditch, you were probably going to be sitting on your frame and I didn't think I wanted to be stuck today.

I haven't been on Division Road in years. I live about 15 min away. Never been on Haushalter Ln. Always on the look out for new bowhunting spot.

so you are supposed to put FF on top of undercoating? and not directly on top of naked or primered steel
i read on my can of FF that it can sometimes soften rubber undercoating :notsure:

You are supposed to get rid of rubber undercoating because it is junk
