Parts of Northern Michigan have gotten over a foot of snow. When I was in Drummond Island yesterday it was 10° but minimal snow. Fingers crossed that it warms up the next few days like it's supposed to!

i suppose its all about how much you like your truck and want to keep it long term or not and winterizing it, many options are out there

from my looking at what this dealer coating stuff has done to 1st gen trucks applied maybe 10 years ago and what has come back to happen, its perplexing
there are possibly a variety of factors also involved in it
and the stuff i have heard is a PITA to scrape all of it off and see what is happening underneath it
times and material used may have changed though, i am still learning all of this through the aged halls of TW

Reach out to me if you need a spot to work on your truck. I'm always down for working on trucks. I'm just north of Madison. And talk with Ben at east Madison toyota for parts, tell him I sent you. He'll give you good pricing

do i need to bring you a box of Omaha Steaks on dry ice to help do a refresh suspension on my truck or what would you want, its ALL original under there still, hopefully minimal seizing since i regularly have hosed off what i can in the wheel wells and don't let the salty slop just sit there!
i was quoted nearly $3k at the local tire shop do-it-all maintenance yesterday getting an alignment on the old beater car
possibly in the spring i was going to get it done, unless it doesn't need it yet!
but at that professional price and how relatively easy it is i hear to DIY i will give it a shot myself

    Awesome, I'll note that!
I also am looking at getting a bed mat soon so I will definitely go over and ask for him. Thanks

I'm also willing to help people work on their trucks! So let me know if you need an extra set of hands

you can also check out parts.toyota.com - they rolled this out earlier this year. Find your parts online and pick them up at the dealer for free. From what I've seen, its cheaper than the prices the dealer can give you.

I was hoping the CRC was an "oil" like FF. I feel like most people know you shouldn't undercoat a vehicle that has been out in the elements. Much less one that's been in them 5 years now. I have minimal surface rust now and think the FF will keep it that way, but the dealer could potentially ruin that. I'll have to take it into one and see what they say

A few of the welds. I'll probably get under it with a wire wheel and some Rust-Oleum this summer

i have NEVER considered black to be a pretty color!
    nor white!

the 'pretty' colors are like blue, red, green ... and not in this particular order lol

So, since Gray is a mix of black and white.. Are you saying that my 4runner isn't pretty?
