    i think i like my old taco too much to go to such extreme lengths to protect from winter monster
    after the FF failed miserably in spots to protect my work in process frame cleaning i had to shell out some coin to get in a heated garage for 2hrs with lift and attempt to clean off the flash rust, it did not all remove, it was too far etched into the naked metal :bananadead:
    so i am trying out this canadian gel stuff that i just brushed on because the DIY garage owner would not let me use his compressor to spray and mist it
    maybe it will hold out better to road chemicals until temps get back to near 70s here and i can finish the frame mod project

    Howdy from Florida, everyone!

    I caught my first ever Black Drum yesterday, right in the canal! 10#, so not big for black drum, but tons of fun on light spinning gear!

    No redfish so far. The canal is loaded with a mixed bag of fish right now. We spent the afternoon drinking beer and catching fish one after another!

    One of these days I'm heading to Yucca Penns State wildlife area for some mild off-roading and try to see some alligators.

    @Thatbassguy
    when are you getting your T4R up the mountain?
    my old stock taco made it up relatively easy this week to 11k feet, your rig should have no problems!
    this is near Vail CO

    i also found a very quiet peaceful highway across NE (US34) to the CO border to stay off of I-80/I-70 through Kansas, which coming back on was not any better than I-80 imo

    I’d definitely do it again. There was a good mix of technical sections, open sections, good scenery and a couple that were like oh fuck I hope i make it through here without falling off the mountain

    I had a couple light scrapes with the tundra. @Cav_BluTRD had a few good bashes on the skids.

    I wouldn’t go up there with rain, let alone snow or ice. That would be a death wish.

    Trying mountain trails like that in snow and ice is a good way to find yourself at the bottom of the mountain very rapidly.

    With the stock tires and 1-1.5” of lift

    you’d do just fine @ajmogen
