Copper Harbor is probally 8 or 9 Hrs from here and one should take at least a week to explore the U.P., there is so much to see.

 

I have a Coleman instant tent and it rules! I will say that it hasn't always been watertight, but a treatment of camp-dry did the job for a few years. I'll probably treat it again this year and see if it holds up. This version did not have a rain fly. I believe the newer ones do.

 

I'm hoping to get up there for a 3 day weekend this year. Eventually, I'd love to spend a week exploring up there.

 

I think I need to pick up a cell booster and spend the summer working remotely from random places

We go to the fall run every year, the whole spectacle from Fri morning to the last race on Sunday is something that you see once and want to come back for every year.

 

We stopped by for a few hours last year. I'm definitely interested in checking it out again this year. Maybe I'll see you there
