I'll have some fox 884 remote resis available here in a few weeks.... :anonymous:

I actually like how they handle the rear of the truck off road, it's just that with all the deals going on and I was looking at fixing my front suspension, I ended up getting a full kit from OME and since it was all engineered together.... Ima run it

I did upgrade my tires after 50,000 miles. It’s a mild A/T tire since I drive 120 miles per day for work.
Bridgestone Dueler Revo 2’s A/T on my stock Trd Sport rims

Thanks for the heads up. I am planning to run the stock rims for at least a year or two. I am going to just run an AT tire on those wheels. Unless you guys dont rec that.

Don't think you can order special gearing from Toyota.

stock sports shocks are Hitachi, not Mitsubishi. Granted, I don't know anything about that brand maybe they're owned by Mitsubishi?

AT tires are a great choice especially because you spend a lot of time on the road. A dedicated mud tire will wear out really fast on the road by comparison.

And the only reason I know that is about 6 months after I bought my sport somebody was commenting on my blue Bilstein shocks under there and I'm like... No?

    Falken AT3W. Highly recommend.

I’m still running stock size on OME wheels.

Those look like a really nice tire. How are they on the highway? The finace is going to be driving about 40-60 miles daily with this truck.

Also how the heck do you turn off email notification.... phone wont stop going off. LOL

The stock wheels are fine. You can even go up a size or two on stock gears. Your mileage and acceleration will be affected, but how much will depend on how you drive.

For minimal off-roading, stick with an SL rated tire. These will be lighter, and tend to have softer rubber. In some cases, the SL version of a tire will also have more siping, which helps with snow traction.

The Wildpeaks are the most popular tire around. They're a very good all around tire. There are other good options as well. Stick to something with a 3 peak snow rating if you're going to use them year-round.

Mine are quieter than the stock OR tires (Goodyear wrangler w/ Kevlar). I put 56,000 miles on my first set and they were great across all weather conditions. I know a couple guys who run them up in canada and have quit running winter tires now that they’ve switched to these.

Yes. Definitely get a SL tire. Theres no need for an E unless you are a thicc boi or just like throwing away money. The SL are also more flexible so the ride will be better.

I wouldnt go bigger than a 265/75/16 on a stock 3rd gen AT. If you are going bigger than that, definitely do gears.
