I have this in my '12. It's awesome. Way better quality than most android head units I've seen.

I'm not sure about mirroring or XM. I just have a USB with movies and shows I plug in. There's a spot for a micro sd too. I never use XM so I never tried. Install was pretty easy. But there's almost no directions. There will be a few unused cables and that confused me. but everything was plug and play. The most annoying part was getting it to fit just right. It seems like it would fit in the same holes as the factory radio. But I had to drill new holes in the stock brackets.

I started a thread for this here:

Let me know how yours goes if you go for it!

    Paging electrical nerds!

I have some auxillary lights I'll be wiring up to my roof rack soon - never done this before, so looking into DIY options/shops in the SE WI area. Bear in mind, I'm basically a novice when it comes to vehicle wiring.

Any suggestions/tips, shops, or noteworthy threads are appreciated.

I'm planning on doing the same after I run 12v back to the bed to a USB and a power outlet. Then I'll mount auxiliary scene lighting to at least one side of my Prinsu, probably under my awning. I haven't determined which lights I'm using yet but have everything purchased to run the 12v. There's some good YouTube vids about this, including Wanderlost Overlanders just did one. Nick from Kenosha (I can't remember his username name) has done lots of wiring on his Tacoma and looks really nice.

I've done some wiring for a friend's project truck, so I'm getting good at figuring thing out. Although it's definitely worth looking into Youtube videos or online instructions. I'm betting someone here has done something similar by now.

I don't know if my services are worthy of compensation. But, I'll never turn down free beer. :)

I met up with @CygnusX191 yesterday just south of St. Louis. I hand delivered another Wisconsin Tacomas Sticker. Soon you’ll see these things in Florida!

@Pixeltim, I might need to order a few more stickers. I’ve gave away all my inventory!

Nice to meet you cygnusx191. I’m sure I’ll run into you again!

Just because I like you guys, here's a courtesy heads-up.

I'm going to be posting my MESO Customs Ultimate Third Brake Light (KC5) kit on the marketplace by the weekend. However, I wanted to post here first to see if anyone would be interested. Unused, just didn't get around to the install and no longer desire to.

Selling at cost - housing/supplies is $180, five KC cyclones (at $30 a piece) are $150, for a total of $330. 3 red cyclones for brake lights and 2 ambers for the bed and/or to serve as a chase light.

I don't think I'm breaking any rules by posting here, but correct me if I'm wrong.

    * This kit did not come with a harness/relay.
