Apparently Firestone can’t align lifted trucks and definitely can’t sell a lifetime alignment to me. FML!

Is there a "mom and pop" shop you can try?

I know you won't get the lifetime alignments, but at least a shop that will take it. And you'll be helping small business in a terrible, terrible time.

Sorry. Meant to say ladder rack. I run that in the summer for hauling the kayak and of course lumber for summer projects.

Something ate right. Did you tell them you had a lift kit? Because they don't like that term cuz it usually means blocks and spacers and dumbass Chevys. You got to clarify you have a performance suspension.

Never heard of a firestone turning down a lifted truck before though, unless it's like something crazy like 8 in...

One of the people I spoke with said that the reason they can’t is because their machine will try to bring the vehicle back to OEM specs and so it’s not capable enough to adjust for an aftermarket suspension. I didn’t have the knowledge to argue. Unless someone else wants to call and argue for me, I’ll try for a small business shop.

It should go back to OEM specs. There's no reason they shouldn't be able to do this, unless you lifted too high on the OEM upper control arms.

    This.

Aftermarket UCAs should be more than enough to get your alignment sorted by any decent alignment shop.

    A few blurry-ass pictures for y'all

The swaybar came off shortly afterwards. I'll post some better pictures once my damn shocks get here.

They can literally set the specs on their machine to what they wanted to get to... Sounds of me like that tech was either yanking or chained or is a certified dumbass.

If you're running 33s on aftermarket UCAs, you'll want to adjust your caster a little bit, usually between 2 and 4, toe should be ever so slightly in, and camber should be 0. Firestones all across the Midwest and out east have no problem using these specs for 3rd gen and 2nd gen tacos. Weird that the ones near you wouldn't even touch it.
