Just need a chill night with a beer in general, but a visit would be swell.

Unfortunately, with a new kid around and winter upon us, travel ain't happening anytime soon

Maybe I'll get down to MO for a trail run next year. I'll bring you some wonderful Wisconsin beer when I finally do.

Enjoy the kid! They're only young once!

I mean, if you're gonna trail run down here, come prepared to party

In all fairness though, the entire southern half of the state is part of the Mark Twain National Forest and it's full of scenic and rustic fire roads and byways etc (if you're not wanting to go our usual route of 3 wheeling/tree bashing/puddle jumping shenanigans)

i am always interested in beers! I should be home this Friday around 11am if anyone isn’t busy working. I can get some wood crates for the fire pit.
    Bonfire!

    or

meet up at a bar somewhere during thanksgiving week.

I might be driving past STL end December/early January. Waiting for the propeller to time out! I’ll be willing to make a beer exchange meet up at the Waffle House! Any beers made in Missouri that are any good?
I can bring some New Glarus and some miscellaneous made in Wisconsin beers!

I would definitely bring an assortment of my favorites to share. Or, any requests.

I'm very interested in the Mark Twain forest. One of the 4Runners.com guys is out there every other weekend or so.

I'm also interested in whatever the local TW guys are doing for fun down there. Although, I'm not really interested in the "tree bashing" part.

I'm interested in a Thanksgiving week beer or 3. Wednesday, Friday or Saturday I should be available.

Hmmm. I'm not really into body damage. I can't figure out why anyone would spend ~$35-40k on a vehicle and trash it. I'd buy an old POS if I were into that. :notsure:

I try to avoid any damage but if it happens it happens. I honestly enjoy the challenge and to see how far I can push the truck with it's current set up and see what I want/need to upgrade next. Plus I've made some pretty good friends along the way

Yeah, I'm sure it's fun. There's trails up here where body damage is a thing, too. But, there's plenty of off-roading available without it.

We have some easy trails that are fun and there are some challenging sections that require skids and sliders, but everything can be done without hitting trees.

Most of the trails by us are pretty tight. I just really enjoy technical stuff. Easy/scenic trails would be a nice change. Plus I would like to get way more use out of my camping gear

There are technical sections here that don't require wrecking your truck, if you ever feel like a road trip. ;) but, then again, you could probably drive west and get to some really cool stuff as well.

I guess we have it better than I thought here. There's still a few things I'm afraid to try in the woods up here. And, plenty of stuff that's fun but not difficult.

I keep saying I want to do a trip to Utah, but I can't see it happening for a few years. Maybe I could pull off a 6 day trip or something, but I'd really prefer to have a solid week or more.

Unfortunately, I burn up all of my Vacation in Florida every winter. It's too much fun to trade for an off-roading trip. Maybe if I ever have 3 or 4 weeks of paid vacation. But, part of me thinks I would just stay in Florida for another week if I did.

I need at least 2 weeks of vacation if I want to go out there. But I would probably end up going to Windrock Park more than a twice a year :anonymous:

Yup, 2 weeks would be ideal. There's so much to do out there, a short vacation would be too busy. That's why I go to Florida for 2 weeks. Even that seems too short. I never have time for everything I want to do down there.

    Windrock Park looks pretty cool!
