Bike is accessible. I’m down, I’m hoping to be out in Utah snowboarding for a week or two but otherwise just work as usual.

You will be fine if the trails are set up like right now. A few weeks back they were miserable... I was riding (barely) at 2 psi with fat tires! Now they are great. Farm road is flat and fast-lots of loops to explore and its in town. Let me know when you are up and I can show you around.

@pearing you've got me looking at fat bikes. Those Wyatt frames look awesome. Do you have a build sheet with the components you chose?

So... here is the story. I crushed my KHS into the garage last spring. It was on the truck bike rack and I didn't see it and crunch. Took me 40 some odd years but I finally did this. Bikes were really hard to come by last June and we were driving by BJ's in Minnoqua-wife said stop and look so we did. They had this one up nearly in the rafters, just got it, and, well I bought it.

Wyatt's are great frames. Mine is a small. They run really long in the top tube compared to others-A medium feels too big in my opinion and I have always fit in that generally size. I am 5'10" and my inseam is 34 1/4 " I have LOTS of standover height but I'm running a 100mm stem with Mary bars (swept back.) Fit is simply amazing-feels like my first Klien that I bought back in 1989: small and very nimble. Thing climbs like a demon!

My Mavric has SRAM NX 12spd. Would not have been my first choice but so far happy. Has the upgrade wren carbon fork, Magura hydraulic brakes, Sun Mule foot 80 rims with Schwalbe Jumbo Jim tubeless tires. I changed the bar and stem immediately. Love this bike-fit from the start (although I am right at the limit for a small with seat-post height. think I paid $2450, which is a lot but less than the $2700 they were asking. So far happy with everything component wise.

Okay-Wisconsin crew, I need some help.

Was laying out in the snow getting started on my slider project. I am building these with the first tube out from the frame (and plate that bolts on) out of 3/16" 2" square tubing. Seems to be pretty typical. They will come out with four supports, 1"" above the bottom of the frame (so up the frame one inch.) This leaves me with 11/16" between the pinch weld and the top of the tube (the tube will extend out past the pinch weld by 1/4".) The cab has bushings and flexes, will that 11/16 be enough space that the cab doesn't hit the tube??? Thanks in advance

    Proof it happened!

I've got a lead on one used. Might just pull the trigger tomorrow.

Damn it, didn't plan on spending any $$$ this weekend. I need to stay off this forum

Thanks. So yours angle up at 20 degrees? how much space do you have from the fender flair wheel opening edge front to tube and rear to tube? Seems most manufacturers run 86" or so underneath with the first tube on DCSB trucks. I am coming about two inches shy of that, so I may not be going deep enough toward the tire. If you wouldn't mind getting a measurement for me that would a help. This is the inner bar, not the outer round "nerf" tube ...

I saw those as well. Good to know someone in the real world likes them. I may go that route.

Whoa! Not sure I need something that goes to 46" I would need to find a jack to match!

Always nice to have the proper tools. Cribbing jack stands squicks me out if I actually have to go under the vehicle. Especially in my uneven driveway.
