One would think you would have to be pretty thick skinned to be Subaru on a Tacoma site...

Nice stuff. I tend to make my own... Not as nice but WAY cheaper. Might jump on the sale for some Maxtrax though...

I have grip tape on mine, works fine. Step would be more functional.... More stuff to clean too.

Just a heads up, sometimes sale coupons only apply to in house products. Sometimes....

My stepson is getting married this year. They live in Austin TX. Wife want to go there at least twice.
I see overtime in my future.

    I really don't need anything.

Yea... didn't work on the Maxtrax. Oh well... eventually I'll find an abandoned plastic shopping cart.

Never! Not because they are bad trucks per say (they serve many people well) but I had bad luck with my passport and it has the same drivetrain that my passport had. ( AWD overheated from driving in deep snow in a parking lot, cylinder deactivation caused steering wobble, cavitation in too soft trans cooler lines caused a vibration like a bad needle bearing when shifting between certain gears, and something in engine bay, I'm assuming injectors, was like crickets on cocaine.)

Edit: Also!! Before the refresh man were they ugly!

I have the cali raised angled sliders on my 4runner. I dont remember the angle, but the only thing I can step on it is with my foot sideways, and it’s only on the outside tube. I like to use that tube as a step to get in, just to lessen bolster wear on the seat (particularly important for husky, big boned, or pleasantly plump guys like me). But if I had a top plate there’s no way to put a foot on it with the angle and how close is to the body.

Sometimes I think I might have liked a 0 angle slider, both for extra step area, and they seem to maybe extend the protection out a bit further from the doors. But then there is also cleaning out the bottom of the plate…
