Anyone know where I can find one of those 4x4 Toyota van things from the mid 90's... I don't know what they called them. Looks like an egg but I think it was on a truck frame. My daughter wants an "adventure van", she's 14. Not sure I like the van part of the deal but she wants me to work with her and build it into some thing she wants. Also any mid 80's to 90's Econoline with the 4x4 conversion. We be rebuilding so worn out is okay. Cheap is the plan.

Yup-what are they called? Hiace? Is that the US 'name"? I am just asking here because you guys are into cars and such and your brother probably knows a friend whose uncle had one and knows where it is...

    So. Many. Stickers.
Hi-Aces are only sold here as imports. Look to spend $15k+ on one. That being said, they kick. So. Much. Arse.

Previas were concurrently sold in the US. I think there was an AWD version but good luck finding one.

My old CB handle was Fog Man. My neighbor gave it to me because everytime he'd take me fishing on Lake Michigan it would be foggy.

Despite my talk about safety gear/recovery gear being a priority a radio must wait. Rear springs are a needed right now and they don't give them away unfortunately...

Since you do mostly solo runs the radio is only good if there is someone listening when your transmitting.

I would look at Dobinsons or Deaver for leaf springs. For Dobinsons talk to @Crikeymike with Exit Offroad, he'll get you hooked up. My Dobinsons 110 leaf pack has been stellar so far with about 18,000 miles on it.

    Both great options.

Dobinsons are all 3 in stock as well.

OMG my suspension finally shipped from AccuTune arriving next week! Skid plates coming today. Lots of other parts arrived or coming soon courtesy of irresponsible financial decisions. Temps warming up outside enough to do some wrenching without freezing my balls off.

Finally I may soon come close to getting a seat at the cool kid's table (or at least the kiddie table closer to it). :taco:
